By purchasing a ticket and participating in Brazilian Zouk classes provided by Flow Philosophy, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read this agreement carefully before participating.
I acknowledge that participation in Brazilian Zouk classes involves physical activity that may be strenuous and carries with it the risk of injury. I understand and agree that such risks cannot be eliminated entirely, and I assume full responsibility for any risk of bodily injury, illness, or harm that may occur during participation in these classes.
In consideration of being allowed to participate in these classes, I, for myself, my heirs, assigns, personal representatives, and next of kin, hereby release and hold harmless Flow Philosophy, the venue where classes are held, and their employees, volunteers, or agents, from any and all liability, claims, or demands for any injury, loss, or damage to my person or property, whether caused by negligence or otherwise, that may occur as a result of participation in these classes.
I confirm that I am in good physical health and medically able to participate in physical activity. I acknowledge that it is my responsibility to consult a physician before participating in any classes if I have any concerns about my physical health. I agree to immediately inform the instructor of any medical condition or physical limitation that may affect my ability to participate safely.
I certify that I am not currently experiencing any symptoms of illness, including but not limited to fever, cough, shortness of breath, or loss of taste or smell. I understand the contagious nature of diseases such as COVID-19 and voluntarily assume the risk of exposure or infection by attending these classes. I release Flow Philosophy, the venue, and their employees, volunteers, or agents, from any liability related to illness or infection that may result from my participation.
I acknowledge that my participation in these classes is entirely voluntary. I am free to discontinue participation at any time, and I accept full responsibility for any consequences arising from my decision to participate or withdraw.
I agree to indemnify and hold harmless Flow Philosophy, the venue, and their employees, volunteers, or agents, from any and all claims, actions, damages, costs, or liabilities, including legal fees, arising out of or related to my participation in these classes.
I consent to being photographed and/or filmed during the classes for promotional purposes, including but not limited to social media posts, websites, and marketing materials. I waive any right to royalties or compensation arising from such use.
This agreement is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia. However, this agreement may also be enforced in the District of Columbia or the state of Maryland, depending on where classes take place. Any disputes arising under this agreement shall be resolved in the courts located in the jurisdiction where the class took place.
We reserve the right to modify or update these terms and conditions, including this liability waiver, at any time. Any changes will be effective upon posting the updated terms on our website or providing notice to participants via email or other means. By continuing to participate in classes after such changes, you agree to be bound by the updated terms.
Flow Philosophy will not be held responsible for any cancellation, delay, or disruption of classes due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions, or other unforeseeable events.
I acknowledge that Flow Philosophy’s Brazilian Zouk classes are only open to participants aged 18 and older. By purchasing a ticket and participating, I confirm that I am at least 18 years of age.
By purchasing a ticket and participating in Brazilian Zouk classes, I acknowledge that I have read this waiver and understand its terms, including the release of liability. I agree to these terms voluntarily.
